The Supreme Council for Youth and Sports decided in its session No. (14) on 01/30/1982 to approve the declaration of the Hatta Sports, Cultural and Social Club
Accordingly, the Hatta Club is known under the name of the Hatta Sports, Cultural and Social Club, which is located in the Hatta region in Dubai and the department of its activity is the United Arab Emirates, under the number (42) clubs and societies
Because young people are half of the present and all of the future, the youth of Hatta received wide attention from the beginning of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Hatta Sports and Cultural Club since its inception until May 2016 A.D.
In the context of his constant keenness to support the youth financially and morally, and for their effective contribution to achieving sustainability and achievements, and on May 25, 2016, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, appointed his son Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Hatta Club. Arenas were opened, enlightened, stadiums, constructions and facilities increased, and budgets were allocated to the club's children
Hence the great credit for the growth and prosperity of the sports and cultural movement in Hatta Club to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may God protect him
There was a link between the past and the present that resulted in a comprehensive sporting renaissance that clearly reflected on the region’s youth, who took it upon himself to carry the banner of sports and advance it in line with the spirit of the times. An aspect of culture in its integrated concept that includes mind, body and spirit.
Activities in the Hatta Sports, Cultural and Social Club
The creation of a men's soccer team in Hatta club seemed to be impossible because the Hatta region is known for its lack of human element, and this was a stumbling block in front of this emergence, which had to happen even if it was a challenge in some way and in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. Hatta Sports and Cultural Club joined the Football Association, volleyball, and athletics, and a public cultural library for Hatta Club was established
On the twenty-seventh of Jumada al-Akhira 1407 AH, dated 2/26/1987, and based on the decision of the Board of Directors No. (12), the first football team was formed in Hatta Club.
In November 1984 the first volleyball team was created
On October 17, 1987 the Football School was established.
In May 1982 the athletics team joined the Emirates Athletics Federation
